for those who have decided on a school... have you guys looked up your weekly class schedules on the schools website or brochures. how does your schedule look like?

i believe that most schools have biochem, anatomy and gross anatomy lab in the first semester? What else? 8-5 schedules?

Varies from school to school.

UCONN:

8-12 Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri , 8-9 Thurs: Lecture, conferences, labs
9-12 Thurs PBL
1-5 Tues or Thurs - Principles of Clinical Medicine
1-5 One afternoon a week: Student Continuity Practice (Assigned to a primary care physician and see patients (MSI-MSIII)

Organ Based Curriculum

Ask them during the interviews, ask the student reps.

My school sent out the schedule in pdf a couple of weeks ago.

It is a piece of work man. They listed every topic for every day for the entire year. It's somewhat overwhelming to look at (have to zoom in about 30 times to read anything), but I know when all of my tests and breaks are.

the texas tech schedule for ms1's last fall included biochem, anatomy (& gross lab), histology, and foundations for med. practice. unfortunately, they're changing the curric for newbie MS1's, so who know what we'll find this fall.
