So I know that many of you out there are courageous spirited parents pursuing a career in medicine. This thread is for our kids!!!! I want to know one thing and one thing only: I know how hard it is to balance running my own business, going to school, and being a husband and father to two kids; how the HELL do you moms do what I am doing right now????????? Its hard enough being the Dad and not being able to see you kids very often, but to be their Mothers?

If you have any pics of your kids, put em' up so we can all see how freakin cute they are........ You all are going to think I am an Idiot, but I dont know how to post pics on here. Does somebody mind explaining it to me?

Yea, I agree on the pictures. I am a little weird about that. You are welcome to see my kids though. I have pictures of them on my Facebook account if you want to be my friend there.😉 As for how I balance things....I just do it. I don't think about things because I would get overwhelmed. I just take things one step at a time and somehow everything and everyone is taken care of in the end. I also have an wonderful and supportive husband who even changes a few diapers on occasion. 👍

I appreciate your sentiment, but it might not be such a good idea to post pictures of children on an open message board on the internet.

Yeah, definitely way too many pederasts out there these days. Yes, even future doctors can be pedophiles.

MiesVanDerMom,

That picture of your baby is so cute! Just wanted to tell you!

Just a question for all you med parents out there . . .I just got married in July and while I am still fairly young (22), if you were plannning a kid in medical school when you do you think would be a good time. I have been on MOMMD and it recommends between second and third I just wanted to get some idea of what you guys thought. It seems so hard to plan a family being a doctor. Oh and just to add in my husband is a doctor too he just has to do his residency over b/c he was specialized in india. Any feedback would be great. Thanks guys!!
