Med School Labtop Requirements

I am looking for a laptop that I will use during my enrollment in the osteopathic medical school, ATSU-KCOM. The school mentioned that they require a specific requirements that the laptop must meet. If you have any idea what kinds of requirements the school is talking about, can you post them here for general med school students? I have never used the imac or apple laptop product before and I am used to the Windows software like Vista and Windows 7. Do you recommend buying imac or is it okay to buy the Windows 7 with recent service pack?
