Do med students of schools where the undergrad campus is nearby ever interact with undergrads? Eg. join undergrad clubs since they have more available and maybe make some friends, etc.

I serve as an advisor for an undergrad organization that I was in. I also do some mentoring with the pre-health office. I think it's a bit odd to actually get involved as a member in undergrad organizations though. You aren't an undergrad anymore unfortunately.
(sent from my phone)
I don't want to join clubs as an undergrad and I sure as hell don't wanna join undergrad clubs as a med student.
Go on... 😕
What do you mean?
And, of course, many of my classmates date them.
How do med students date them if they have almost no interaction with local undergrads?
I take it you've never picked up a girl from anywhere?

1) go to undergrad bar
2) find girl
3) exaggerate credentials
The opposite seems to work better for me.
"You are going to be a doctor?"
"No, CNA."
"Oh, cool!"
Depends on the girl you're trying to get...
For real? It actually works? I was just josh7ing.

maybe at your school's journal club or something?
No. Meds students are too busy studying to really interact with undergrads. In our class, we had a bunch of students go through depression because of the long hours studying and not a whole lot of sleep. some had to go on anti depressants.
I like how fast this thread devolved into "how to date undergrads as a med student."
That said, it's probably a safer dating pool than your fellow med students by a long shot. Though personally, dating 23 year olds when I'm in my early 30's doesn't really sound that interesting. I imagine I would probably look for people in the other grad schools if I decide I am going to do a dual MD/MRS degree.
I'd say a good chunk of MS1+2's interact with pre-meds from our campus. Some of the med student clubs interact with the pre-med clubs as support. A lot of them actually work together in the student-run clinics also.
But I wouldn't say they hang out and make friends necessarily.

Telling underclassman college girls that you are an upperclassman with a car and apartment works. I'm sure the med student card is as good as gold.
