I've been getting emails about the "new onlinemeded" website. I tried to use it at the beginning of third year, but I found it lacked enough detail. Has anyone used it with the update? Is it helpful?

My most important resource for all of third year along with uworld.

OnlineMedEd is great for introducing you to the basics/basic algorithms in each specialty. Kind of quick and dirty - I like to watch these videos before/in the beginning of a clerkship. Then you fill out the details with review books, UptoDate, didactics and, most importantly, UWorld. I agree with the above poster: if you have to pick just one resource for clinical rotations (which can happen on busier rotations), hands down choose UWorld. For those times when you can use several resources, OnlineMedEd is a great intro, though it is by no means sufficient for the shelves.
