Thanks to all who attended tonight's webinar! If your question wasn't answered during the Q&A session, I've listed it here. Everyone who's able, please pick a question or two to answer.

1. You talked about a concise personal statement. What are your thoughts on making it 1 page or less? Some physicians involved in this process have told me no one wants to flip through pages and pages of a personal statement when they have hundreds to read. So, getting your point across in 1 page would be impressive and appreciated.
2. What are considered great/superior extracurriculars?
3. When torn between two activities to use as my third most meaningful experience, how would you suggest picking between the two?
4. What do you suggest for approaching the personal statement as a re applicant
5. I'm applying to Medical School 3 years after graduating. I have 4 letters of recs from MDs, but none from professors. Should I try to hunt an old professor down and hope for a strong letter or stick with my MD letters?
6. I am a non traditional student. I graduated in 2008 low GPA (at the time), and I am 40 y.o. I am looking to attend North East Ohio Medical College. a lot has changed for me, and I am doing a self study to take the MCAT. Is it realistic for me at my age, and low undergrad. GPA?
7. I was wondering if you could comment on applicant strategies for students with an upward trend in grades, but low overall GPA and high MCAT? Let's say a 3.2/40. Thank you.
8. I know you mentioned not having sports as a significant experience. Why? I think being a collegiate athlete is a tremendous experience and testament to ones dedication, teamwork, and work ethic--all things successful physician's have.
9. Do all of my grades have to be posted (summer courses) before the application is submitted?
10. I'm stuck on the personal statement. I did colligate sports, research, leadership experience, etc., but I haven't a clue how to address that all in 5300 characters, as well as my heart to help people!
11. I have one incomplete on my transcript, which was later changed to an "A" grade but the transcript shows an "I/A" as the final grade. How do I correctly note this on the AMCAS application?
12. When is the latest MCAT we should take for the 2016 application cycle?
13. Hi, I will be junior next Semester(fall). I am probably taking MCAT summer 2016. But what would be your advice as when to apply or can I apply earlier than what my college prepares us and directs me to do for application process?

16. What is a realistic turn around time for Secondary Applications?

18. What is the best time to take MCAT ? Can I take it while doing my Masters program after Bachelor's degree?
19. How influential are volunteer experiences to your application?
my undergrad has a committee letter process. how does that letter affect my standing in medical school admissions process?
20. Would you recommend global health or business as a minor that is practical?
21. Would you address non-traditional applicants/career changers? Specifically age limits; I continue to be told everyone is evaluated equally. I’m nervous since I am in my late 40’s that boards will look at this as a limitation.
22. The doctor I shadowed asked me to write the recommendation letter for him to sign. What should I include in the rec letter? Thank you.
23. Should we use all 5300 characters for our personal statement?
24. I'm applying to Medical School 3 years after graduating. I have 4 letters of recs from MDs, but none from professors. Should I try to hunt an old professor down and hope for a strong letter or stick with my MD letters?
25. This might be a hard question: How do I avoid the feeling that my audience for the personal statement will question my motivations to enter medicine? when I read my essay, I think others might say "oh are you saying this because we look for this or because you actually believe it"?
26. Does MSAR include DO and MD schools?
27. If I have a good GPA, but not a great GPA along with very good extra curriculars and goal-worthy practice MCAT scores, how much would my grades pull me down?
