I don't know where to post this, but my dad has a dental practice that he opened up about a year ago and we've been accepting medicaid patients the whole time (they make up the majority of our patients as we are building up).
My dad has sent in all the papers, verification, identification, etc to medicaid far before the proper deadlines totalling about 3000-5000 dollars.
however, medicaid said that it needed to do verification and told us to provide some more details. well, we did and we gave them these new files well before the 90 day deadline.
however, medicaid said that the 90 day deadline is up, much much much before the 90 days were up, and now they're saying that we're DENIED. what gives? We feel as though medicaid is ripping us off big-time and that this program is really a scam.
Small-time businesss like ours can't do anything about this because we dont have the money to hire an attorney, which can far exceed the money that we worked for.
So far they haven't given us a reason on their behalf as to why we will not receive our money. We're considering dropping medicaid from our providers because they don't seem to be very reputable...
