In my time working in a neurology clinic, I did the role of a scribe with some additional roles of a MA like taking vitals if necessary, room preparation, prior authorization and ordering medication.
in essence I did whatever I was asked to do by the doctor, but I did not do EEGs and I usually did not make any phone calls (receptionist job). Is it embellishment to call it Medical Assistant on my application instead of Medical Scribe?
