did anyone else have trouble uploading your picture to the secondary? what should I do?

Just out of curiosity (and because I'm applying there too), did you receive an email from MCW showing you where the application and stuff is, or did you just download it from their site. If they contacted you, when was you AMCAS transmitted? I've gotten nothing from them yet.

I got an email from MCW yesterday with a link to the secondary, along with my pin and password. I transmitted to AAMC on June 3rd, but haven't received an email from Rush, Cornell or GW, all of which people have posted as having sent out secondaries. WHO KNOWS!!!!! It's weird considering none of these schools screen before sending out secondaries. Does every aspect of this process have to be so random... I think that's a big YES!

Rush's is available online right now, not password or anything required. I don't know why they don't all do that, it gives us a chance to look these things over in advance...

Are any of you having difficulty getting the site to process your credit card when you submit? I keep getting an error msg.

Yup, had to try seven times before mine was accepted with three different credit cards

ok i spoke with mcw yest....they fixed the uploading photo glitch.
all is well in the land of mcw.
don't know anything about the credit card stuff though.

Last year everyone just mailed it in, along with the check. I got accepted to MCW, I think they are one of the most considerate schools to students/applicants.

I got my photo uploaded successfully, but I still can't get them to accept a credit card (I tried several!). So I guess I'll have to just dust off the ol' check book. Anyone else having problems paying online?

I'm still having trouble submitting my payment. Tried with two different cards over and over again. I've sent emails to the school explaining my problem, and they just tell me to keep trying....<sigh> already did it like 10 times today. How annoying.

Took me three tries and two credit cards, but it worked eventually.

hi,

I apologize if I am asking a stupid question, but are there actually any essay type questions on the MCW secondary?? Seems to me that they are only asking who to expect recommendation letters from....and the usual have you committed crime/fraud...etc. Am I missing a link or something?
