Stedman's and Dorland's are both good medical dictionaries. I have a Dorland's medical dictionary and I really like it.

I have a Stedman's concise dictionary. It came with a CD-Rom so if you don't want to drag the actual book with you to the library, you can just download it onto your laptop and bring it with you that way. It also has some great pictures and tables!
