Would working as a pharmacy tech for 5yrs be considered adequate medical experience for PA school, or should it be in a clinical setting? Thank you for your responses.

I considered going into optometry school but I am now considering going to PA school. I have worked 3 years as an ophthalmic technician, does anyone think that can be used as experience?
