Good day everyone,

I'm preparing for interviews and i'm wondering if anyone knows of a good podcast on contemporary medical issues or ethical issues in medicine. I have a fair bit of driving between work/school and want to use my time effectively.

thanks

The episodes "Playing God" and "23 weeks 6 days" from the Radiolab podcast are awesome and are some interesting stories of complex medical issues. I listened to 2 docs talk for some of their pre-election info on Obamacare and other health care like stuff. There's also an episode of On Point that came out around a month ago where they talked about how and why premiums are rising which was pretty interesting.

Edit: Oh! There's also a very interesting story of Doctors Without Borders doctors that are working in South Sudan. The episode is called "the Hospital" by NPR Embedded. Maybe not medical ethics stuff you want but it's a really inspiring but also gut wrenching listen.

Man, "Playing God" was deep. It makes you so torn up inside.
