Does anyone know of or heard of any eye physicians prescribing marijuana for POAG use? Do you need a speific certification to do so? Seems like a recurring topic, but because of the recession and state deficits, a couple of states are considering legalization. :luck:
 
I don't know of anyone who has actually done this. My understanding is that it's IOP lowering effect is short lived, so one would have to recommend that his or her patients smoke it 24/7...which might have other health effects that outweigh the potential benefit. Maybe try some timolol? :idea:
 
I agree, I can't imagine Timolol would be more expensive than an Rx for marijuana.

although compliance might be better than with timolol.🙂
