I found a possible future employer/partner through an online practice broker. Does anyone that is active on this forum have any experience using an online broker to find employment? Feel free to DM me if you don’t want to post openly.

FWIW, I’ve searched SDN and have found very few posts about medical practice brokers (medical mavin, etc)

Stay away from them .... i had experience with them when i was searching for my second practice and the deals they were itching didn't make and sense valuation wise etc.. among other things

Don't waste your time. I dealt with one that the seller had hired. After I went over the details, I told him the valuation of the practice was way more than its actual value, giving him some reasons such as the ancient equipment (non of which I wanted), 50% of revenue came from selling products out of office... His come back was that between him and his father they have 30+ years of selling/buying medical practices and that the pricing of said practice is a fair price. He ended that statement with, there are multiple other interested party. I told him, that he can then sell it to one of those interested party. The practice sat unsold for more than a year.

LOL sounds like "Medical Mavin ".... what a joke, it actually SAD if he sells these places to real people that will be stuck holding the bag

MM is a true joke. Most of the practices listed have been listed for years. We met with MM to sell one of our practice locations. We asked him for references and it was comical. He gave us references and the 2 he gave us had used him over 10 years ago. Nothing even close to recent.
