Hi guys, I wanted to know how the whole medical school applications work. I watched the AMCAS video tutorial but I wanted to know more specifically where professors send LOR'S or do we have to print out a letter of recommendation request form (can we do this anytime)? Also I wanted to know if we can complete the AMCAS application anytime and then just submit it on June 1. Can professors also give LOR'S earlier? Please help me clear this confusion and I thank you for your time.

You do realize you posted this in the re-applicant thread? You should have probably posted in the pre-allo forum. You should read the AMCAS instruction manual and it'll answer all your above questions.

There are many ways to submit letters of recommendations (Interfolio is what I used as they are stored so you can use them multiple years). There is also VirtualEvals and AMCAS has their own service. Read up on all of these and you can decide what is best for your case. The timing on when professors can submit will depend on which route you go.

AMCAS applications open in May. You normally can submit in the first week of June.
