Not aware of any list since it varies from year to year. You may have to check with individual school. It is more common transfer after finishing MS2 as preclinical curriculum varies from school to school.

Is there a list of medical universities that accept transfer students from other US MD schools for their 2nd and 3rd year classes?

Thanks!

I thought AAMC had one, but it wasn't that worthwhile because it changes each year and changes when schools change curriculum. Your best bet is to just check the admissions page for each school you think you'd be open to transferring to. There's usually a link for "Transfer Students". Most schools just outright do not accept transfers and will tell you on that link. Regardless, you have to have a very compelling reason to transfer usually and "my school sucks" does not count.

It's a very rare event, especially prior to Year 3, given the differences in curricula nowadays.

It changes from year to year, depending on the availability of seats, so you'll have to ask individual schools, unfortunately.
For instance, Drexel is known to take on transfers from other USMD schools in addition to the most accomplished applicants from Caribbean schools. However, according to their website, they didn't take any in the previous year due to lack of seats.

Furthermore, I heard from word-of-mouth that a top NYC institution accepted a MS3 from a medical school of comparable repute because the student's SO was also accepted as a student there, but when looking at their website now, they say they don't accept transfers.
