In general, you should expect to pay primarily through loans. Medical school is not like undergraduate where schools tend to give out need-based aid to a lot of students.

I'm from a low ses family and I'm wondering if it's financially better to apply to private schools vs out of state public schools. I just wanted to know if public medical schools give need based aid regardless of the state residency.
