Would not recommend clog-like shoe. This type of shoe fails to secure heel, more likely to cause plantar fasciitis. Also, certain foot types, pes planus v. pes cavus require different shoes. A maximum pronator may require a Hoka like shoe, while a supinated foot would do better in a less supportive shoe. Cavus feet are more rigid and require additional cushioning. A pronated foot requires more support. No one shoe will fit all feet.
