Hey guys,
I took a medical terminology class at my local community college. It was called biomedical terminology and taught very much like an anatomy class (not as in depth of course). It was also taught through the biology department in the science building. Should I put this down as other science or other course in PTCAS?

To me it felt like an "other science" class but I would think I have to put it down as a "other course" because PTCAS has medical terminology listed in its other courses. Has anybody ever put it down as "other science?"

Thanks

If PTCAS has it "Medical Terminology" listed in Other Courses, then just because yours was called "Biomedical Terminology" I don't think you should try to put it in as anything other than what PTCAS recommends.

Also, why does your status say DPT or ODT if you are applying to PT school?

Ok thanks, and I don't know. I'll change it sooner or later.

I put Med Terminology under Biology because in my school it is posted under biology.

^^^Well I would have too in that case except that he's saying that PTCAS specifically lists Medical Terminology under "Other Courses"...

This. No need to be the rebel without a cause haha. I don't see a problem either way though.

It really isn't a big deal either way. As long as all your other courses are accurate PTCAS will take the 2 seconds to adjust that one course characteristic if they had an issue with it
