I wonder if the media will just start printing doctor's home addresses while we're at, like they did with legal gun owners in New York. Ridiculous.

When they said they were going to release Medicare billing, I knew this would happen. No context whatsoever for the general public. Just another reason doctors will just stop taking Medicare patients. The attack on specialists continue...

You do understand how billing works right? Medicare already sets what they're going to pay for a medical service. On the other hand, Medicare Part D pays full price for drugs - that doesn't go to physicians. Also the drugs that Ophtho uses are expensive, like Lucentis.
 
I understand that, but I'm sure there are some loop holes in the system. They do need to see the size of the practice and patient numbers
 
But I agree when you say the general public will be mislead. Most people won't understand the numbers
 
i wonder how the layman would feel anyone could take a look at his/her paycheck on the internet
