Medicare Part B vs D determination on albuterol nebs

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
B vs. D determination is based on diagnosis, not setting.

If it’s nursing home (long term care setting), then most likely it’s part D; most of the people time in retail setting when Medicare members are home, and if it’s used via nebulozer for COPD or Asthma, then it’s part B. Google BvsD criteria for nebulizer online.
