Mediocre Surgery Rotation Performance

I wasn't really at my peak during my surgery rotation, and my eval and rotation grade reflect that... Likely will be the only rotation that won't be an A, judging from how I've done on the others. Is the surgery rotation a relatively big deal for anesthesia? Should I plan to do a sub-I in surgery to make up for it? My Step 1 is 233, if that's relevant.

I'd imagine doing a Critical Care sub-I would be much more attractive than a Surg sub-I.

Not only will nobody care, nobody will notice.
Do as well on Step 2 as you did on Step 1 and just graduate. You'll match in your top 3 ranking like 90% of other applicants.

Nope. I didn't either, and I'm at one of the above too. Granted, my Step 1 score was pretty baller.
