Hello fellow applicants!! Just starting a thread for this awesome program. Has anyone gotten an invite so far?
 
Yes, I did but got into med school so prob not doing it... got an invite on 11/27.... I really wanted to go to OSU but was never meant to be! I’ll withdraw and hope someone get my place

Would you mind sharing your stats and when you were complete for the referral? I am trying to figure out whether I am even competitive to be referred to.

I submitted my app 9/12... I also sent a letter (email) of interest in medpath. My MCAT is low (50x) and high gpa (3.8x)! I was also told by admissions that they refer 100 applicants, interview 30, and accept 15... you should email Nicki and I the admissions office if you meet the requirements
 
Hey everyone! I’m really hoping to get selected for MEDpath, however I'm unfamiliar with who Nicki is. Could someone message me her email?

Nikki said they would make the application available to me!! She said this on Friday and I have not received it so I'm hoping to receive it on Monday. Anyone know the deadline to submit the application??

it's due Jan 31st
 
In case anyone didn't receive an invite and was curious why not, there is a max MCAT score cutoff. You can't have received above a 500 and be eligible for a referral. I didn't see this on the MEDPATH website so emailed NIkki and she let me know.

They do exceptions, like in my case. Email Nicki, I guess you have to meet the remaining criteria convincingly
 
Hey all,
Does anyone know how many people filled out the application this year? I think last year only 104 people applied so the odds of getting an interview were good.

I don't know the answer but I would like to know as well. When I spoke to Nicki, she said roughly 100 people were referred. That doesn't mean all of them applied, though, so I know the odds are better than the regular MD application.

Oh wow so only 100 people were referred this year? That's so much better than before. Thanks for that info!

@kli0165 Haha I just checked this thread to see if there were any updates. I'm nervous. Do you think we will find out tomorrow? Nikki's email said early this week so I'm hoping it's soon! How are you feeling?

I am so nervous but excited! I don’t want to get my hopes up but fingers are crossed! That’s what I thought regarding her email as well. Good luck!!

I haven’t gotten anything either! How do you see when your portal was updated? Probably doesn’t mean anything but any little thing is a clue hahaha

You would see it at the very bottom of the Vitals portal homepage. Right under "contact us."

Has anyone tried calling? I'm not able to reach anyone at the office. Curious if all interviews are sent at once
 
Does it come up as soon as you open vitals or was it under your evaluations? I wonder if they send out rejection emails that same day as well...
 
Just from past threads, they had all be sent the same day. I just couldn't figure out what time that was updated.
Also, it looks like it was sent by email first. But now, it seems like vitals...
