Same! I'm April 7th tooHi! April 7th. I've been obsessively watching this blog & finally feel like I have valid input. Haha!
From what I've read in previous posts, the interview is pretty laidback. They just want to know you and make sure you are who you said you are on your AMCAS and tOSU application. So make sure you know your application thoroughly. If you have family or friends that you can practice with, that is recommended. You can search online for medical school interview questions and try answering them while your family or friends interview you. You should have a structure for your answers but make sure you don't sound like you are reading off a script. So be flexible during the interview! Make sure you read up what you should avoid during an interview, like certain taboos. Let me know if you have any more questions 🙂Anyone know how the interview is or have had there’s and have any feedback? This is my first one all cycle I want to know what to expect and how to prepare?

Nope. I was hoping that information would come soon so I'd know how much time to take off from work.Hi! Does anyone know when we'll receive information about the interview day? Time? Schedule? OR have any of you received that information?
I've heard that it'll be like a med school interview, so I asked my advisor for some practice questions and I also have been using some questions from the University of Washington's bioethics site. How are you guys practicing for your Medpath interviews?
thank youI've heard that it'll be like a med school interview, so I asked my advisor for some practice questions and I also have been using some questions from the University of Washington's bioethics site.
I think I am! It could be helpful to hear from the current students. Plus any last minute interview tips would be nice lolWho's going to the social event on April 4th 🙂
I was legit wondering if I was stroking out...I found a Youtube video of Dr. McDougle addressing some Easter egg hunt tips. It's from 2014 but I still think it's helpful since he'll be part of our Easter egg hunt committee. Clearly someone substituted the word "i n t e r v i e w" with "Easter egg hunt" since it's April 1st...
YAY! That's two people from the April 5th interviewAccepted!! Check your VITALS !! I am excited to meet you all !
No, not yet. Glad I'm not alone in that. I emailed Mrs. Nikki almost two weeks ago about something else and she said she would also send out an email confirming all our addresses before sending the acceptance letters...but like I said, that was almost two weeks ago and I have not gotten an email from her yet. Did anyone receive an email confirming their address?Did anyone receive anything in the mail yet ?
I think that's right. If you get an acceptance to a school you'd have to withdraw from MEDPATH. If it's a special circumstance, do you think it's something you could ask them about? So if we get an Acceptance to another medical school to start in the fall, we don't have a choice to still do Medpath, do we? I am conflicted because OSU is my dream school, but is it worth delaying a year ..
But can’t you choose to decline the acceptance to the other medical school and do the Medpath program?I think that's right. If you get an acceptance to a school you'd have to withdraw from MEDPATH. If it's a special circumstance, do you think it's something you could ask them about?
Yes, you're right. That is exactly what I did. I hope I was able to make someone on the waitlist's day 🙂. Best of luck to all of you in the next year!🤍I think that if you have an acceptance to another school it would be morally/ethically correct to forgo acceptance to MEDPATH. It has been reiterated multiple times to us throughout the process that an additional acceptance warrants surrendering your MEDPATH acceptance. There are people that are currently on the waitlist and this may be their only shot this cycle. Just my unbiased two cents, I have already been accepted so I don't have a dog in this fight ✌️
She told me that She is still going down the list.Has Mrs. Nikki reach out to any of you guys to make a schedule for the Medpath program?
Thanks. I haven’t heard anything from her and started to get worried. She told me that She is still going down the list.
I also haven't been able to find anything! I applied and haven't heard anything back, hopefully it comes soon!Anyone has a thread for this years medpath program process?
