Hey guys,
So I'm going to see some family in NY this summer, and was thinking that maybe I could stop by NYU and tour the school/meet with the dean of admissions etc... Is this a good idea?

It can't hurt to ask. Some of the schools I thought I would never go to I found out on my interview I really liked and some of the schools I was really stoked about going into the interview I found out I didn't like as well. It just goes to show you really need to go to a school to see if it is what you are looking for.
