Meharry "Acceptance Range"?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
every body who is accepted is placed in the Meharry acceptance range. That is the pool in which the final class is derived from. You should talk to Proh and curiosity, they applied with me last year. They where the fortunate ones who got into Meharry. I got into UCSD. But the acceptance range is the pool in which the class of 2005 will be made from. Hopefully this helps.

So being placed in the "acceptance range" is a good thing? It doesn't mean that I was not up to par with their standards, right? Hopefully, I get in... I love that place.

I know how you feel. People think I'm stupid for wanting to be at Meharry instead of UCSD, but the experience was so amazing. I felt comfortable there. The acceptance range becomes a waitlist after may, when all the seats are sent out and people start withdrawing. Do not think that you are not up to par, because they considered you worthy of an interview. Remeber they get 7000 applications, send out 700 interviews and the class size is 80, 20 of the 80 seats are for their post bac students. so technically it is 60 seats. But I would remain confident if I were you.

I was placed on the list last your too. Interviewed late october, put on the list by mid November, and got accepted about 2 weeks after that.

After getting the acceptance range letter, I sent out letter of intent(to Mrs Davis via email) to attend the school. I follwed up by calling Mrs Davis every week to check my status. Perhaps you should do the same.

Like Verb said, Meharry is where to be. After attending a a big undergraduate institution, I needed a change. I have just finished my first semester today, and I loved the whole experience.
