I went to predents.com and noticed that these schools have lower GPA and DAT averages? is there a reason for it? I heard they prefer minorities..

I'm not trying to offend anyone. I actually read the "minority" news from another thread, if that's what you were implying "war of words." But, of course, I was just wondering.

To answer your question, yes, the two schools mentioned do prefer African-American (as well as other minority) applicants.
