Hello, did anyone get a meharry school of dentistry interview for oct 7? I am so excited.
 
I received a meharry interview.. but i rescheduled for Nov 18th.
Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Hey guys and gal,

well this pass friday I got a phone call from the admissions office I was super surprise to hear from them because I still had not completed my supplemental app. yet. The guy told me that they really want to offer me an interview but I need to complete the sup. app. Maybe if I would have completed earlier I would be in the early rounds of interview but now im just waiting. I hope they contact me soon. I have a few questions:

1) When did you guys fully complete your application
2) how long did it take them to contact you about the interview

1. supplemental app completed 7/29; same as my aadsas mail out date.
2. interview was posted on aadsas first...but the email came 9/21. i would say it took a week and half after the the aadsas to be updated for the e-mail to arrive.

I have exams on the day they offered me an interview (early Oct.). would it be bad to take the alternate date in jan?

Hey Yall

I got my interview on the 28th..eeekkkkk...Is anyone from out of town or is everyone from TN....
 
Congrats to all of you!!! Meharry is a great school!!! Question to every one when did you complete your supplemental application and how long did it take to get a interview date from the time everything was complete. I'm slacking and I haven't submitted my secondaries yet everything else was complete 2 weeks ago 👎thumbdown but that is my goal by the end of the night!!:xf::xf:

I did mine wednesday I think(or some time last week) and they sent me an invite yesterday.
 
My aadsas was submitted on 7/14. Meharry supplement 9/14. I got my interview emsil invite 9/23. I am fron NC but in grad school in GA so im just going to drive there. See you there Duriel!!!

I read in the email sent to me about the intervew that we should reply as soon as possible to recieve additional info...for those of you who have your interview on the 7th of October...What extra info did they send you.

Just a dental interview conformation form that you will need to fax back to them.

Yes they did... There were hotels & airport information attached to the form. The host hotel is Maxwell House but it was sold out when i tried to make reservation. It is $99/night and you have to tell them you are a meharry interviewee to get that rate.
 
Application Submitted/Complete around 7/18.
Supplemental Completed around 8/2.
Interview Invite received 9/29.
Interview 10/28/11!!!!!!!

I'm coming from FL! 🙂

None...your best bet is to stay at Millennia Maxwell Hotel and take the shuttle that they provide to drop off and pick you up from the interview.

It's called facetious humor. Apparently someone didn't read the memo lol.
 
For those of you who interviewed on October 7th how was the interview process was it laid back like a conversation or not? Was the tour of the school before or after interviews.

Interviews were before the tour. Both of my interviews were very laid back as were everyone else from what I heard.
 
I have not heard back from Meharry. I submitted my supp. application on September 18th. I might need to call and check on the status of my application. Congratulations to all who received interview invites!

I highly doubt it! It will likely be on December 1st according to Dr. Luten. I think he is going to be calling accepted students!

Can any of you tell me how Meharry feels about community college credits? I'm a dental hygienist, and I'm trying to complete my coursework to apply next summer. I lack Physics and I'm only able to find night classes at community colleges and not four year schools. Is this generally a big problem. I want to go to Meharry, but I'm apply to a couple of other schools also.

I suggest that you contact the schools on your wish list directly. That way you have concrete information.
 
I have an interview at Meharry on Friday and I came from a community college. I suggest taking all your sciences at a four year university though, however my gen chem and bios are from a community college.

Hey yall! So I was waitlisted at Meharry last year and just got another interview invite for January 20. I was interviewed at another school already (which went well) but i REALLY want to go to Meharry! If i get into the other school, i'm worried ill have to send my deposit before my interview at Meharry 🙁 Good luck to everyone and let me know if anyone has an interview on the 20th as well!
 
Did anyone have any changes to their aadsas under school decisions? That Dec 1st date is around the corner.....
 
Wow, never mind, all this waiting is boiling my brain. Disregard that comment haha.
