Okay, I wanted to see if there were any other poor souls out there on the waitlist for Meharry....

so what if your interview was in february and you still haven't heard? i hope what another poster said is not true, that this year they overinterviewed and that there won't be a lot of movement on the waitlist. Again, i really hope this is not the case.
 
2nd time on waitlist. Since December....
 
2nd time on waitlist. Was on waitlist last year as well didn't get in. Interviewed dec waitlisted Feb.

Who said this?!!? I must of missed this. WTF?!?
 
I am waitlisted, my interview was in March.

I called about it, and they told me as of yesterday that they have not accepted anyone off of the waitlist.

However, May 15 is the deadline to tell most schools if you're coming or not. So I'm thinking there will be some withdrawals?
 
I am not trying to hijack this thread I just had a question about Meharry. I am a Caucasian male, come from a medically underserved area, academic disadvantage, very small rural town. Anyway, I really feel like the mission at Meharry fits my career goals and ambitions. Since this is a traditionally African-American school, does it negatively affect me being a white male as far as admissions go? Thanks!
