Is this just a stereotype or does this truly resonate in many schools? I've heard that many first year males tend to be nerdy and socially awkward but become more confident and socially aware by M4.

What's the general distribution between nerds and bros?

...what?

In my class of 260 i’d say very few fall into your definiton of “nerdy”

Does this look nerdy and socially awkward to you? I didn't think so.

Medical students with rare exception are going to be the most academically, extracurricular, and socially well rounded folks. That is what it takes to get to MED school. Doesn’t go away at matriculation

If true, your comment is surprising. Personality would presumably be well defined by your mid-20s and unlikely to change drastically. In other words, the "nerds" from MS-1 are still likely to be be that way in MS-4. On another note, what's wrong with us nerdy guys? 😛
