Mention NIH Grant on Application?

I'm the PI on a current NIH grant application, along with faculty from a top 10 public university. We are striving to develop a specific web-based program for a specific population with a specific condition (sorry, don't want to be too specific on here).

1. Is this worth mentioning, given I haven't been awarded anything yet?
2. Will a school be hesistent to accept me in the event I am awarded this grant and have to delay medical school by a year?
3. In the event I am not awarded said grant, is this something that bears mentioning?

Go ahead. Applicants mention far less significant things. I doubt the possibility of success will harm your chances.
