I have been accepted to a DO but am waitlisted at a nearer DO school (closer to home and less expensive) that I prefer. Both are not new schools. Should I submit a LOI to the nearer DO school and mention the name of the accepted DO directly in there? There are mixed opinions online and I would like to know adcom perspectives and opinions if possible. Thank you.
