I hear of people noting in the secondaries a school's past and present accomplishments in research as one of the reasons why they want to go there.
I was wondering how to do this correctly because, if there is ongoing research on robotic surgery, medical students will never even take part in that specific research; it would seem silly to mention it as a reason, unless it was illustrated as an indicator of the school's great research facilities. So should we instead mention the research facilities?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks~
