I never mentioned my moving violations, but it was WAY more than five years between my last ticket and applying.

Yours are a bit more significant (reckless) but you were also 17. I would attempt to verify via amcas.

How do you do that?

If you have to ask yourself if it was a “crime” it’s probably not. You would know if you were convicetwd if a felony etc. don’t worry about it. I applied with moving violations and all the background checks on me came back clean.

If you're asking about UCincinnati, I think you would check "yes" to the one where they asked about speeding tickets and traffic violations.

I may be wrong but the question seems to be worded to include any traffic violations, even minor speeding ones. Which is weird because many schools don't care about traffic tickets.

Lol are you telling me that the one traffic violation I've ever gotten for going 75 on a 70 (on an interstate in the middle of no-where) will affect my chances at Cinci, one of my state schools...?

I'm not sure how much it will affect your chance but the secondary asks and specifically states any speeding tickets.

Yes. UCincinnati cares a lot about avoiding controversy, especially in recent years, apparently. I doubt it'll affect your chances significantly; they're probably looking to avoid people who are convicted of DUIs or extremely reckless driving.
