I may be wrong, but I think the only way they reject someone is if they don't fulfill the requirements, or basic gpa/pcat trends, or if they said or did something really offensive or creepy during the interview. Just my personal guess though...

I never heard of a school accepting you and then say we need to see another PCAT...wow thats new!

Whoops, my bad...it should have read that I was previously placed on the new PCAT score list.. They re-evaluated my file after my October Pcat came in. I got the "need to see new PCAT" letter first then I got accepted after they recieved the new score.

Not so hot, 69. Then I raised it to 81.

Thats wonderful! Are you going to go or do you have other schools in mind? When was your interview?

My interview was Sept. 15 during the first session. When I went to Mercer I was highly impressed with how organized they were and the location of the school. I have another interview next week at ETSU, and if I get accepted there...it will come down between the two...but it will be hard to turn down Mercer.

i just got the need to see another pcat letter from mercer.
i have a 3.7 gpa but i got a 57 on pcat in october, im taking it again in january.
do i really have a chance even if i improve my scores for the fall 2007 class or will it be too late.

does mercer have multiple interviews per month? I have a mercer interview on Jan 19th and USC interview on the 20th. I have to travel cross country and will definitely be tired for the USC interview. What should I do?

I got the "We are not ready to make a decision" letter. I'm pretty frustrated, b/c I got that from South too. And I have a 3.4ish, 87 PCAT, so I thought I'd be in good shape. BLARGH what a good Christmas present...

I too got the "we are not yet ready to make a decision" letter.... it's so frustrating, because I was really hoping I would know where I was going before next semester begins... I'm still waiting on Shenandoah in VA though...

After reading all these posts, it looks like nobody have been rejected after interview. Just the "hold for further consideration" letter. So I guess it's a bad letter....🙁 Does anyone know if Mercer made an actual waitlist yet?
