Mercy DPT interview 2015

Hi everyone,
Is anyone interviewing at Mercy Feb 4 2015 at 4? I am a little nervous for the group interview. From reading some posts from previous years it does not seem too bad, but still nerve racking. I had my first interview at Wheeling Jesuit University a few weeks ago and was wait listed. I think they could tell how nervous I was during the interview. Has anyone attended Mercy's DPT program or attended their interview? I know it is a group interview and I think a writing sample. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I have my interview coming up soon, I see yours passed. I hope that the interview went well! People don't seem to be replying as much anymore to any Mercy DPT applicants, kind of a shame. I have been trying to look at old posts instead. They talk about a writing sample, but the interview I was told is only 1 hour. If there is a group interview and information I wasn't sure how a writing sample would be squeezed in. However, I am really nervous but excited! This is my top choice, I had a sign from God that this is what I needed to do. All my PTs say just have fun and go. I know I love the field and I am passionate about my plans so just let that shine and have fun, be personable and professional.

This seems to be a dead topic. My PT said prepare for the basic interview questions. I was told it was an hour long when I scheduled my interview. Not sure about any writing to fit in to an hour with interviews and introductions? Perhaps though, can't rule it out. Other than that I am in the dark. Everyone of the PTs I talked to said have fun, be professional and yourself.

Good luck! This is my top choice school, the one that made me decide to go back. I'm hoping I get in, everything has lining up, so I keep my prayers up!

When is your interview? We had 3 people and they asked us 6 questions and then we were allowed to ask questions. Make sure you have your parking pass! Just know why you want to be a PT why that school, maybe some challenges PTs face. Things you'd want them to know about you. Relax and don't fret. Tell them why you are good for the field and why you want to be a PT.

Thanks for the helpful info. My interview is Wednesday. Was there a writing sample?

I did not have one. Good luck! Wear a suit! Haha (I didn't think of it as a female but got one just to keep that from being a factor)
 
I looked up the basic interview questions to get me thinking. Google them and see if you can find any!

I received a phone call on the Feb 26st. And an acceptance letter in the mail yesterday.
They said there is a wait list if someone drops out.
