I searched the forum but didn't find a too definite answer on the subject of when to take the MCAT. Basically, it looks I can have everything set up to where I have a fairly easy semester the spring of my junior year (Spring 2010) and either PR or Kaplan test prep for the April MCAT. I took a PR Diagnostic Exam before I had taken biology and halfway through Organic I just to see what it was like and received a 34 (13 VR 14 PS 7 BS), though I don't know whether it was just a really easy exam or how well PR exams compare to the real thing. My question is: If I'm aiming for a 38+, would it be possible to take the May (though I don't know if that date exists) or June MCAT and still be able to submit primaries the day AMCAS releases them? The reason for the later date would be to allow me completely focused study time without the hassle of classes.
