If you have an n-alkane with 2 chirality centers and is a meso compound because it has a plane of symmetry........does the 2 chirality centers have to have different configurations? Meaning one has to be R and the other S??

I think I figured this one out already, but if anyone wants to say something, then they're more than welcome.
