Message from Marquette

I got an update on AADSAS that says:

"Applicant's file has been received by our office. The Admissions Committee will be selecting for interview spaces in early September. Those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted in mid-late September."

Well, it's clearly past mid-late September so does that mean I will not get an interview??? The weird thing is they sent me a secondary application last week...😕 anyone know what this is about?

Hmmm. Mine has been like that since early/mid sept. on AADSAS.

I got that AADSAS message too quite a while back and was thinking the same thing now that it's October.

I received my secondary from Marquette back in August and promptly sent it in. Since then I have heard nothing, and my status on the AADSAS site hasn't been updated. So, I called Marquette last week about the status of my application. They said that they are done sending out interview invites for the time being and will resume sending out invites after december 1st. Everyone will get a letter with a status update on december 1st, so you will know if you were rejected or asked to participate in the second batch of interviews. So, my guess is that if you are getting an invite, it is in the mail and will be coming soon, otherwise you will get an invite/rejection after december 1st.

Usually schools update AADSAS by using the "mass edit button"

3,000 applicants... it would be a pain to edit all of them via AADSAS

I wonder why they update aadsas so late... Hope they are sending letters this week...

i don't know exactly how it works, but i go to school in wisconsin, so i've met brian a few times. they just sent out the in-state interviews about a week ago, and they do it by email. i'm assuming they do it the same for out of state, but i believe the first round of those is all done. the first thing mine said on AADSAS was about a week after I set up my interview.
