Methodist vs Nova

Methodist (new MD) 64 students or Nova (established DO) 400 students, which would be the better choice?

I’d go with Nova. Inaugural class can be risky I’ve heard. For example, I’ve seen a lot of complaints online about the new Belmont medical school in Nashville, TN.

I agree, keep in mind the challenges of an inaugural class. However, figure out how you would be supported in a 400-person class size.

Is Nova not MORE expensive than Methodist?? Don't make things harder on yourself by going DO AND paying more money for it, especially if you want to match something competitive. Look at past threads about the same topic, the general consensus is almost always to go with the MD school. The only situation where it would make sense to pick DO, imo, is if it is significantly cheaper and you are dead set on a non comp specialty.
