Anyone have any tips on how to prepare for the MFM written exam? I have little guidance. Any and all is appreciated.

No help from your fellowship director, other attendings, or your senior fellows?? I'm a generalist, so I don't have much to offer aside from "Memorize Creasy."

The written MFM boards were definitely more labor intensive than the orals, since the latter was predominantly clinical and thesis defense. The fellows in our program relied on Fetology for fetal anomalies, Creasy for the maternal, Thompson & Thompson for the genetics. Although one can not attest to this, every program has a collection of old exams/questions that are passed down, so you may want to chat with your former fellows. At least in our program, no one ever took the professional courses to prep.

Good luck!
