Anybody get the email about 1-2 MGH CA1 positions available for July 2012? Is that through ERAS or outside the match? I thought they filled their spots this past match, some people gave up their spot?

Most likely outside the match. It's common for someone to give up his/her spot every couple of years (either deciding anesthesiology is not for them, or falling in love with someone who lives in another city and deciding not to move for residency). Email the residency coordinator to ask.
My guess is they would be unlikely to accept a candidate who already has matched to another anesthesiology program, but would offer to people changing specialties etc.
