Most schools that offer an MPH in health management and policy, or an MHA have the option of a dual degree. A couple of schools at the top of my head that have this option:

Berkeley
Columbia
UCLA
Hopkins - don't recommend for health management
UMich
Northwestern - has a MBA in healthcare
U Washington
Emory

For the best health management programs look at US News.

why not Hopkins for MHA?????

Have you heard something about Hopkins' MHA program that has turned you away from it?

so after talking to ALOT of people - at Hokins currently, and alums - the consensus was not Hopkins for a management/admin track. that's not what Hopkins stands for. They're all about research/ academics/ global health issues etc. - if it was epidemiology and biostats - hands down Hopkins is the place to be.

Out of an MHA i wanna know for sure I have learned the skills for a consulting and/or hospital management position. I'm not convinced that Hopkins would have provided me with that grounding. I've never worked in either of the above mentioned settings before, an accelarated program is not the best fit for me...

I'm going with UMichigan. I'm turning down Yale and Columbia as well. After months of going back and forth on this, I believe UMich is the right program for me.
