MI almost always occurs at the left ventricle and spares the RV. Occlusion of the LAD causes an anterior wall infarct of LV, occlusion of RCA causes a posterior wall infarct of LV, and occlusion of the LCX causes a lateral wall infarct of the LV.
Remember that the RCA gives off the right circumflex, which courses to the posterior portion of the LV
