does anybody know if miami MS screens?
Did anybody get an interview?

They screen heavily for out-of-state ... I'm not sure about in-state, though.

Yes, Miami screens for in-state students as well.
Here is what their website states for screening applicants:

"Secondary Application

The AMCAS application is used to identify applicants about whom the Committee on Admissions would like more information. These applicants will be invited to complete a Supplementary (Secondary) Application. To be invited to complete a secondary application, Florida residents must have either 1) an undergraduate cumulative GPA of at least 3.2, or 2) a post-bac or graduate cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 (minimum of 15 credits). Residents of other states must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.6."

Other helpful info I came across in terms of out-of-state applicants is:

"Up to 35 non-Florida residents may be enrolled in each first year class. As a consequence, residents of states other than Florida are encouraged to apply, but only if they have truly superior academic records and exceptional (30+) MCAT scores, and have unique qualifications that the Committee on Admissions would find highly desirable."

Check out their admissions website because it answers a lot of questions!
