Dont' know a soul in Chicago

This decision came up pretty suddenly and I don't have much time. Please help!! Especially with any supplemental information about Feinberg

Both are fantastic, reputable schools and you can match into top residencies from both. First try nicely asking Feinberg to close the gap in aid, as they seem to be pretty receptive. Also, Chicago is fantastic and Second Look was amazing! As for which one works for you, try writing both withdrawal letters and see which one is harder to write.

Thanks. I am concerned about having missed second look. Im glad to hear it was great. Do you know who exactly I would broach the finance topic with? Is it the dean who called me or financial aid?

Merit aid is through the Admissions office, so send them an email explaining that you really want to go to NW but finances are part of your decision, so could they offer any aid to make the choice easier etc.

Yeah that is a tough difference! Chicago is amazing so don't let that worry you too much if you haven't been there. It's quite different from Miami, but an amazing city nonetheless. The winters will be a bit more... chilly, though. It could go either way I think depending on how much that 160k COA matters to you (it's a good amount to be fair). Go with your gut and where you would feel happiest.
