did anyone get a confirmation email saying that MSU actually received your supplemental? i mean i know it says complete or something online but idk i guess i was expecting to get an email saying when we could expect to start hearing back.. blah blah. maybe thats just too much to ask though! 😛

Nope, I just got a receipt that looked like one I'd get from Amazon. No info, I'm pretty sure that we won't hear much until like March 🙁. Who knows though???

For those others who are curious about when we'll be hearing about admissions decisions, I called the admissions office today and they said they wouldn't have any decisions until late Feb/early March....and that decisions would be sent via snail mail to your permanent address.

Really MSU? You have an electronic supplement, but you can't notify us via email???

UGHHHHHH late feb/early march?!?! they said the first week of february! i'm going to go crazy now.

Wow, I hope that means that they really put a lot of thought into their decisions. I think my brain might burst this winter from anticipation! I guess I'm not busy enough if I have time to worry that much, though. 🙂

I just submitted my supplemental application for MSU. However, when submitting, it did not prompt me to make a credit card payment. The application and payment are due by 5pm tomorrow. Does anyone know how to make the credit card payment????😕

When you're on the CVM Admissions portal you should be able to see the link to pay. It's the 2nd number on under the 'Application Information' title

Does anyone know when MSU plans on making acceptance decisions? When I completed the supplemental it didnt provide any timeline. Is it Jan, Feb, March?

I know last year, they started sending out acceptances in mid-february, and had them all out by the second or third week in march.

As far as calculating ones SIS score, how do you calculate your last 3 semesters GPA? Does "last 3 semesters" simply imply the grades from your last three semesters or quarters? Or is your last 45 hours?

Hey everyone, I haven't been on this site since last summer when the application cycle closed but I wanted to offer any help since I got a lot of good feedback from the site when I was applying. Hey guys I am a first time user and it looks like all of you are great support for each other! This is just what I need! I received my supp app. Oct. 26th and got it in by the 29th. Now it is the long dreaded wait for good or bad news. We should hear good news mid to late Feb. going into March. Is this also the time when we will be hearing the bad news too if we are not accepted in? I know that if the SIS score was not competitive, then we would already have had a letter of denial sent. Are the denial letters sent snail mail or e-mail I wonder. Not that I am Looking forward to getting one, but I was curious...🙂

That's appropriate, because SDN is pretty much like a drug ... so addicting. I think someone said one time "just need one more hit of that F5 key". I got my supp in the beginning of Dec. I don't know when denials get sent out, when I talked to them last year, they said that they were sending out final aceptances and rejections in mid March. Maybe they send out the acceptances in Feb to those with wicked high SIS scores. And I'm pretty sure that they're through snail mail. Are you IS or OOS? I'm IS and MSU is my dream school, I wish they still held interviews.

I'm lucky to be IS. I am not sure how I feel about no personal interviews...It seems maybe less stressful not to be interrogated in a small setting but on the same note less personable. I interviewed at OSU 12/15 and of course I was nervous, but it was nice to meet some faces too.

It's my first day posting on here and just wanted to say that I got a supplemental for Michigan and good luck to everyone else who did! I hope that everyone gets good news. I can't believe we have to wait till February... Between UF, Penn, and Michigan I'm losing my mind waiting!
