Michigan College of Optometry

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Their class size is really small, that might be a reason as to why. They don't get as many applicants as other schools.

It seems like only like a few out-of-state students enroll each year at Ferris. I heard a few years ago that it is hard to get in if you don't do your undergrad there. Maybe it's not true, but it made me not bother applying there.

Okay, just found this on their website:

Are there restrictions on how many non-Ferris applicants you will take? No, in the past five years, MCO has accepted individuals from 44 different colleges and universities across the United States, Canada, and from other countries across the world.

Maybe I shouldn't have listened to others! It says they only receive 10 applications per student accepted.

Okay! I am from Michigan and its my number one choice. I was just curious how long they take to give out interviews. It's been like 10 days, and I am getting nervous.
