Michigan requires an applied human psychology.
Minnesota requires a sociology.

At the community college I will be attending for the summer, they offer a course called Human Sexuality. It is offered as PSYC 120 and SOC 120, but they are the exact same course, same professor, same time slot.

Should I sign up for SOC 120 or PSYC 120? They are the exact same course just difference course name.

Should I be able to take just 1 applied psyc/soc OR would I have to take one of each?

here is the course catalog:

Thanks

Call the schools and ask them. We can only speculate here. My speculation is that it won't matter which one you sign up for if you can show both schools that it is counted as both a SOC and PSYCH course. Still, ask the schools.
