Currently confused on what to choose. I got accepted to Michigan with no scholarship(out of state tuition) vs in state tuition in Texas. I believe that Michigan is a better school however is it worth the price tag and the better overall experience at one of the best programs in the country? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Generally go to the cheaper school, but Michigan is definitely a good school.
Do you know if they offer in-state tuition after 1 year of residency?

You'll be in about $160,000 of extra debt at Michigan. This means that over ten years the difference expands to $226,000 after interest. That's a LOT of CE you can pay for after graduating. That's a steak dinner every day for 20 years. That's a house!

Would interests in specializing make a difference in deciding? (asking because I'm in a similar situation)
